On 3rd April 2023, Family Hearing Centre finally opened its doors, formerlly known as Oak Hearing, founded by Chatu Nelumdeniya.
Ever since the departure of Chatu from her previous role, Leanne Ma, co-founder of Family Hearing Centre, felt work wasn't the same without Chatu. During a small catchup, small talk turned into a plan for two young women with big dreams and ambition to start their own clinic, and here we are today.
Chatu and Leanne have a wealth of experience working with a wide range of patients, understanding that each patient's hearing journey is different. They provide a gentle and personalized approach to all their patients. They are experienced audiologists, trained to use different techniques and strive to create a comfortable experience for their patients. With a more focused approach on paediatric care in the hearing health sector, these two young women were determined to find a space in a central location, to cater for adults and children from all suburbs. New equipment has been acquired and a brand new hearing booth from Australia will help with diagnosing hearing, along with our commitment in providing exceptional care for the all members of our community.
